Artist Bio
In 2018 a celebrity supergroup was formed, stars from stage and screen. The Celebs gathered together to sing their hearts out for some very special charitable causes. The Celebs were the creation of music Industry executives Grahame and Jack Corbyn, who decided to utilise their musical expertise to raise some well needed funds for some amazing charities with the help of like minded stars of the entertainment industry.
The Celebs were formed in August of 2018 and were made up of 27 much loved entertainers in aid of Great Ormond Street Hospital. The group consisted of such famous faces as the much adored Lionel Blair, TV Royalty Shona McGarty, BBC Antiques expert Philip Serrell, Whispering Bob Harris, Actress and Strictly come Dancing winner Kara Tointon, the lovely Anne Hegarty of ITV’s The Chase and talented violinist Lettice Rowbotham, amongst others. They were brought together to sing an original Christmas song written and produced by Jack and Grahame Corbyn, named ‘Rock with Ruldoph’. The song creates the perfect backdrop to any Christmas party, and had everyone singing along to its catchy punch lines, painting every childhood dream of joining Santa in his sleigh on the night before Christmas. A beautifully orchestrated song which congers up the spirit of Christmas and has very quickly become a firm favourite. The video was accompanied with a heartfelt video, featuring The Celebs singing, performing with a special performance from the Legendary entertainer Lionel Blair who was celebrating his 90th year that Christmas. The single was released on the 30th November 2018 through record label Saga Entertainment and peaked at number 2 in the iTunes pop charts.
Following the success of Rock with Rudolph, The Celebs re-united to sing a Christmas classic; the much loved and festive song, ‘Merry Christmas Everyone’ by Shakin’ Stevens. The song has now been re-imagined to incorporate a magical piano ensemble and a brilliant brass section that takes your breath away. The super group is made up of an impressive all-star cast of 31 performers, including such names as X Factor star Sam Bailey, sporting hero Frank Bruno MBE, reality TV star Kady McDermott and the UK’s most popular YouTube family The Sacconejolys amongst others. Merry Christmas Everyone is being released through Saga Entertainment to raise funds for two very well know and important charities; The Alzheimer’s Society and Action For Children. This beautifully festive song was produced by Grahame and Jack Corbyn of Sage Entertainment, with the intention of helping both the young and the old within our society while bringing Christmas spirit to everyone’s 2020. Jack and Grahame’s aptitude shines through on this cheerful and joyous song, with a festive music video featuring children playing in the snow and The Celebs getting into the swing of the season. It is sure to brighten up your day and put you in the Christmas mood. A music video teaser for the song was aired on Good Morning Britain on the 9th November which gained a positive response from the public. Merry Christmas Everyone is released on the 11th December 2020 and available for preorder on December 4th 2020. The song peaked at number 2 on the iTunes pop charts.
