Ivan Kaye is a British actor born on July 1, 1961, in Northampton, England. Known for his distinctive voice and imposing presence, he has made notable contributions to both television and film, often portraying intense and dynamic characters.

Kaye began his acting career in the early 1980s, initially appearing on stage , soon transitioning to roles on British television in the 1990s. His first significant breakthrough on screen came with the drama series “Sam Saturday” in 1992 where  he played the main  role of the Jewish detective Sam Sterne, nicknamed Sam Saturday. Ivan has enjoyed 27 roles on screen alone including his role in the BBC soap opera “EastEnders,” where he played Dr. Jonathan Leroy from 2003 to 2005.

Over the years, Ivan Kaye has taken on a variety of roles that showcase his versatility. He is best known for his portrayal of King Aelle in the History Channel’s acclaimed series “Vikings.” His performance as the formidable king was widely praised and remains one of his most memorable roles.
